REUBEN ZADEH received his Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from California State University at Northridge in July 1992. In addition, he holds an AA degree in Economics from Los Angeles Valley College. He is a California Notary Public and was licensed as a real estate agent in October 1989. In September 1996, he was certified as a CPA by the California State Board of Accountancy. In January 2003, Reuben was licensed for the sale of life insurance and annuities by the California State Department of Insurance (CA Insurance License: OD87344).
In July 1992, following his graduation from the California State University at Northridge, Reuben accepted a staff accountant position with Farmers Insurance Group in Los Angeles. At Farmers, he was responsible for completing bank Reconciliations for the company's various accounts at its various divisions around the country. In addition, he performed day-to-day accounting functions reflecting and recording the company's financial transactions and investment activity. In May 1993, he joined the Century City CPA firm; Nigro, Karlin & Segal, where he assumed more extensive accounting responsibilities. At Nigro, Karlin & Segal, a heavy emphasis on compliance audits of entertainment industry clients provided Reuben with the opportunity to develop his basic auditing skills and interact with high profile entertainment clients as a part of the routine auditing procedures.
In November 1994, Reuben joined Corby and Corby, a prominent Westside CPA firm specializing in audits, reviews, compilations and tax preparations of small to medium-sized businesses. At Corby and Corby, Reuben was fully responsible for financial statement audits and reviews of a few high net worth service and manufacturing businesses. These duties consisted of planning, managing and performing the audits and reviews of the clients' financial statements.
The extensive tax preparation activity of the firm provided Reuben with a solid background in taxation and the tax laws applicable to different complex situations. In addition, Reuben headed the firm's consulting activities with various accounting software programs including QuickBooks and One-Write Plus. In May 1996, Reuben helped launch Corby and Corby's entry to the Information Super Highway and prepared the firm's website. This provided the firm's clients with an opportunity to market their services on the Internet through Reuben's consulting help in preparing their website at a reduced rate. In February 1995, Reuben established the firm California Republic where clients are able to get assistance with all their Accounting and Financial Services needs. Currently, the firm provides Tax Consulting and Preparation services, Accounting Software Consulting (i.e.: QuickBooks, PeachTree, etc.), Notary Public services and Retirement and Investment Planning Services.
In September 1996, Reuben was certified as a CPA by the California State Board of Accountancy. In February 1995, Reuben founded California Republic Accountancy, which started operating as a full time, full service CPA and Financial Services firm on July 1, 1997 in West Los Angeles, California.

OTHER PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND
Reuben held various bookkeeping and accounting positions while studying accounting at California State University at Northridge. Among them, in 1991 and 1992, a bookkeeping position at Professional Support Systems in Van Nuys, CA helped strengthen his general accounting knowledge while in school.
Following licensure as a California Real Estate agent in December 1989, Reuben joined Mike Glickman Realty and subsequently in June 1990, Jon Douglas Company Realtors where he was a real estate associate in charge of listing and selling residential real estate in the Western San Fernando Valley. He later joined Coldwell Banker in Sherman Oaks where he remained on a part-time basis until his graduation from California State University, Northridge in 1992.
During the years 1986 through 1991, Reuben also held part-time positions at the Los Angeles Daily News and the Los Angeles Times while attending school.
