As a result of the newly enacted federal laws most commonly referred to as ObamaCare, most taxpayers are now required to have health insurance or they may be subject to a penalty in the form of additional tax liability. The open enrollment period for 2014 ends on March 31, 2014. As a result, various enrollment options have been made available to California consumers.
